Crazy Cat Cider

A delicious, dry, small batch cider made from our single orchard apples.

Planted in 2011 our beautiful Wessington, heritage orchard is home to all of the Derbyshire varieties, and a host of regionally and locally important varieties and key cider apples. This cider contains: Beeley Pippin, Belledge Pippin, Lambs Seedling, New Bess Pool, Newton Wonder, Duke of Devonshire, Lord Derby, Black Dabinett, Red Stoke, Northwood and Slack-Ma-Girdle, and of course, the famous Isaac Newton apples, which were taken from cuttings of the original ancient apple tree still there today at Woolsthorpe Manor, plus one or two others!

We challenge anyone to find a cider in this region that is derived from a more locally and regionally specific orchard than this one!
