Scheduled Tours & Tastings

Cost: from £20 per person - under 18s free. There are tours available for 11am, or 2pm or our 7pm Sunset Tours, which are a little more informal, culminating in a tasting around twilight with illumination in the orchard.

Our scheduled tours are led by Barry, Amber Valley Vineyards owner and vigneron at our Little Vineyard in Wessington, which overlooks the beautiful Amber Valley. Explore the vineyard year, the trials and tribulations of growing vines in Derbyshire. Tastings of least 3 wines and our cider then follow in the glorious Orchard, or under the beautiful pavilion or in our quaint old stables Cellardoor tasting rooms if the weather isn't quite up to it. By a warming fire if it's inclement out, and we can squeeze you in!  Please do bear in mind we're a predominantly outdoor venue and tours are an outdoor activity so please dress for the weather!

You can even add a Picnic box or Afternoon Tea box for 2 (box for 1 option also available). See below for dates and further info and click  here  to see more info on our food boxes.

Stay with us?

Did you know that we offer accommodation too?  We own two adjacent holiday cottages in the nearby beautiful town of Belper, in the heart of the Derwent Valley World Heritage Site.  Both of these quaint cottages are comfortable, well-equipped, full of character and situated in a conservation area, opposite a 13th century Foresters Chapel and with beautiful views across the Derwent Valley.

And you're just 8 miles from our vineyards!  And every mile traveled is a delightfully beautiful one between the two places!
